Slowly we begin to be aware that World War III is in progress.

Not everybody notices it because it looks so different than any other war we knew in the past. There are no fortresses to attack, no land to conquer and no visible enemies to destroy. The rules of war have completely changed.
The aggressor dictates now the new rules and the defender accepts them. The aggressor may kill civilians - the defender may not. The aggressor wants to destroy culture and economy - the defender sends food and money. In past wars there was always a certain goal and who reached the goal first, was the victor. The goal of the terrorists today is to let radical Islam rule the world and to destroy Western culture. The goal of the Western culture -(though not everyone understands this yet) is - not let it happen. It is a war, which nobody can win.
So will this war ever end? Can it end? And if - how?
Let us speculate. No Western power will be able to defeat today's terrorism.
It just needs a small amount of skilled perpetrators to inflect unimaginable damage and their means of destruction are growing. By the way - Al-Qaida's claim, to have created the great 'black out,' is not yet disapproved.
We just have to look at Arab demonstrations and see the hateful faces and the intimidating fists. Children throwing stones without fear at tanks. They were indoctrinated from childhood, grew up and - even if not participating actively - become the hosts who shelter the terrorists. They can freely let go their acquired instincts because on one hand they are promised heaven and on the other, they need not fear. They are protected by - as they see it - by degenerative Western values, which will not harm anyone unless caught red-handed and properly convicted in a court of law.
Regarding law or justice. Radical Islam is convinced to be right. This is how they interpret their Koran and against a Dogma no one can fight. I could not convince the SS-man who hit me mercilessly that I am a good person. He just continued screaming that I was the scam of the earth.
I find the ongoing dispute about of who is right and who is wrong for completely futile. Extreme Islam follows their divine command and can never be convinced differently. They will though fabricate thousands of accusations to prove their points as right.
Terror will increase - as weapons and skills improve. Moderate Islam may, if opportune, pay lip service after outrageous attacks, but will not fight terror but still assist and protect it. They have nothing to fear, they are protected by the 'decadent' justice of Western culture.
And this may change one terrible day - the day, which will go into history. It will follow frustration of the Western world and the decent people all over the world. Nobody can tell the immediate reasons of this turning point, but the day will come when the rules will be changed back to the way of historic war. Eventually there will come an outcry of; "enough is enough," and scores of innocent people will lose the umbrella of Americas goodness.
Then the balance of fear will be restored. The enemy will fear us even more than we fear them. It will be terrible, but it will work.
To prevent this to happen lays solely in the hands of moderate Islam.
Only they have the means to fight terrorists. Only they can fight terror with the Koran as well as with power. Today when you hear a moderate and decent Muslim, he may condemn a certain act of terror but right away comes the but - but - but.
These "buts," have to go. It would be wise for moderate Islam to stop the terror before it gets out of hand. For the world and also for their own sake.
